Retriever URI:

backupfile:filepath

backupfile:/etc/passwd

DESCRIPTION

The backup file retriever is based on the Atomic File retriever and behaves identical for read operations. When writing to a file via file insert, however, the driver saves a backup copy of the file about to be overwritten. The backup copy is done via the config backup functionality. This means that the ConfigBackup.Dir and ConfigBackup.Keep options of sfidirector.conf are effective.
